The product

Can the AI get the breakdown wrong?

Yes. It does the bulk of the work in seconds; you review and correct. Your corrections are remembered: uploading a V2 of the script doesn't lose them. So you don't need to wait for the locked draft to start.

Where do your budget estimates come from?

From the union rates in force, the collective agreements and the usual industry scales, notably the CNC's. It's a working basis, which you refine with your own quotes.

Do I have to use the chat box or WhatsApp?

No. Every feature stays available through the classic interface.

Does my team need to install anything?

No. Soldum runs in a browser, and on set through WhatsApp, which your crew already has.

Can I export my documents?

Yes, at any time: quotes, shooting schedule, call sheets, contracts, contact book, in Excel, PDF and CSV. You are never locked into the platform.

Are the contracts legally valid?

Yes: they are the SACD's standard templates, and the built-in electronic signature has evidential value (timestamping and traceability). Learn more

I do advertising, not film. Is Soldum any use?

Yes, and it changes trade: shot-based vocabulary, advertising breakdown, usage rights, deliverable versions, production book. Learn more

Does Soldum exist in English?

Yes — interface, documents and documentation. Everyone picks their own language independently of the other project members.

I'm a crew member, not a producer. Can I sign up?

Yes: you create your directory profile so productions can find you. You can't yet search for projects from your profile.

Pricing

How much does Soldum cost?

Solo €49 excl. tax/month or Studio €179 excl. tax/month, with a 7-day free trial, −25% annually and −50% for students. A card is required when the trial starts; nothing is charged if you cancel before it ends. See the detail

Who pays when several people work together?

The project owner, and only them. A collaborator invited by a Studio account pays nothing.

Confidentiality

Who can read my script?

Only the members you invite. Soldum's teams have no access to the content of your scripts or budgets, unless you grant temporary authorisation as part of a technical support request.

Is my script used to train AI?

No. Your scripts, your notes and your budget data are not used to train models, neither ours nor third parties'.

What about WhatsApp messages?

Only messages addressed to the assistant are analysed, in order to update your project. Nobody is signed up by someone else: each person enters their number in their settings and can remove it at any time.

What happens to my data if I leave Soldum?

You export everything at any time. If you delete a project or close your account, the associated data is erased.

Are you GDPR compliant?

Yes, and your files are hosted on servers located in Europe.
