Soldum directly integrates the official contract templates of the SACD (Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques). You fill them in, customize them and get your collaborators to sign them directly in the app, without having to print, scan, or use an external signature tool.

7 SACD templates available

Soldum lets you instantly generate the following contracts, adapted to each stage of your project's life:

Option contract: Secure the rights to an original screenplay during its development phase.
Option: adaptation of a pre-existing work: Lock in the adaptation rights of a book or a play before committing to writing costs.
Copyright: adaptation of a pre-existing work: Conclude the final acquisition of adaptation rights to launch production.
Copyright: screenplay / adaptation / dialogue: Hire one or more screenwriters to write or rewrite your film.
Copyright: screenplay & directing (feature film): Contract the writer-director of a feature film for the entirety of their work (writing and directing).
Copyright: screenplay & directing (short film): Contract the writer-director of a short film.
Copyright: director: Hire a director-technician who does not take part in writing the screenplay.

How does it work?

1. Choose and customize

Select the template you need. Soldum automatically pre-fills all the information it already knows (project title, production, names of the parties). All you have to do is complete the specific negotiation details (remuneration amounts, durations, special conditions) via a clear form.

2. Send for signature

With a single click, send the contract. Each signatory receives a secure link by email to view the document and sign it electronically, directly from their phone or computer.

3. Archive

Once signed by all parties, the contract is timestamped and permanently archived within your Soldum project. You can download it as a PDF at any time. Deliverable: A secure, signed and filed contract.

Legal value and security

The templates provided are the standard contracts made available by the SACD. The electronic signature built into Soldum has evidential value (timestamping and traceability), legally recognized. Note: Soldum makes your administrative steps easier but does not replace the advice of a lawyer or a legal expert specialized in film law.
