Financing a film means assembling a puzzle of sources: producer contribution, regional grants, tax credit, SOFICA, broadcaster pre-sales, a distributor's minimum guarantee… Soldum brings this whole puzzle together in one place and constantly shows you what you still need to find to close.

What does it do for me?

Based on your film's cost (from your Quote), Soldum builds your financing plan line by line. Each line represents a financing source with a given status (envisaged, submitted, secured), so you know at a glance where you stand. A cost vs. financed gauge shows you your financing gap in real time: how much is left to find.

Soldum goes further by helping you identify and reach out to the right sources:

• Regional grants: Soldum connects to the official Aides-Territoires database and suggests the grants relevant to your region and your type of project, with their amounts and commission dates.
• Film tax credit: an estimate of your tax credit is calculated from the eligible expenses in your quote.
• SOFICA: prepare and track your applications to SOFICA funds.
• Pre-sales: manage your application files with broadcasters (channels, platforms).
• Distributor: track the negotiation of a minimum guarantee (MG) with distributors.

How do I use it?

The Financing module is your closing dashboard:

• Build your plan: add, edit and evolve your financing lines as responses come in. You can manage several versions of the plan to compare scenarios.
• Track your gap: the gauge updates with every change to the film's cost or a financed source.
• Never miss a commission again: Soldum displays the upcoming deadlines of the grants and windows tied to your "envisaged" or "submitted" lines, so you submit on time.
• Generate your files: for each target (regional grant, CNC, SOFICA, pre-sale…), Soldum offers you a checklist of the documents to provide and generates a pre-filled application file from your project's data.

What do I get?
